What Are Spider Veins?

Spider veins are tiny, thread-like veins that appear on the surface of the skin. They tend to be red, purple, or blue, depending on the person, and are named spider veins for their web-like appearance. Laser therapy is a very effective solution for the removal of spider veins from most parts of the body.

How Does Spider Vein Removal Work?

Your nurse will use a focused beam of light to target the veins individually, avoiding the surrounding skin. When the laser heats up the vein, it is destroyed. After four to six weeks, the remnants are reabsorbed into the body and no longer visible.

Benefits of Spider Vein Treatment

  • Clear skin without the need to cover up or wear makeup
  • Non-invasive
  • Minimal pain and recovery time
